Abbey & Kyle’s Zephyr Charters Wedding in Church Point

Say hi to Abbey & Kyle. They held their beautiful Zephyr Charters Wedding in Church Point. The ceremony and reception were held at one of the Northern Beaches Top Wedding Venues the stunning Pasadena Sydney. Followed by a sunset cruise on the Zephry Charters in between to spend time with their bridal party. Having postponed their original wedding (thanks to COVID), they managed to keep all their dream vendors and proceed with their wedding a short six months later.

Their venue choice is a special one, I’ll let the bride explain. “We decided on Pasadena early on. We did look at a few other options but this venue stood out to both of us from the beginning. I grew up down the road and Kyle’s dad Bruce lives on Scotland Island, so the area is special to both of us.  The waterfront position is unbeatable. In the lead-up to our wedding, Bruce revealed to us that Kyle’s grandparents were engaged at the Pasadena 74 years ago, so it holds a special place in our hearts even more.”

Abbey and Kyle generally tried to keep the relaxed vibe for the whole day. The groomsman arrived by boat while all the guests were seated and spread out across the front lawn with beers in hand for the ceremony. The Pasadena is such a beautiful venue as it is, with amazing waterfront views and lots of palms and greenery. We kept the decorations minimal with neutral linens, and being a spring wedding, we opted for colorful florals by Wild Lotus in large arrangements around the venue and across the tables. Each of their guests received one of two custom-made pins that my sister designed; “I’m with Daryl” which
featured our dog’s face and “Fiesta de Channon” which paid homage to our trip to Mexico. We also had a large
neon sign made with the same wording that hung at the front of the reception behind the speeches.
